Kwara
United right back, Yusuf Abubakar will be saying goodbye to bachelorhood this
weekend as he will be saying “Yes I Do” to his long time heartthrob, Simbiat
Idrees.
The
wedding Nikkah slated for Sunday 22nd of March will take place in Ilorin, the
capital of Kwara State.
Abubakar,
who joined Kwara United from ABS FC last season, just bagged a National Diploma
certificate in Business Administration.
The
relationship according to Abubakar began about nine years ago and has expressed
joy to finally settle down with Simbiat.
“I’m
excited to be getting married to my friend, my sister my wife to be, it’s a
good feeling and I can’t wait for the day, it’s a moment I’ve been waiting for
and I believe God will make it the beginning of happiness for me,” Abubakar
told SL10.
Asked
what getting married mean to one of the pioneer players of Bukola Babes (now
ABS) FC, he said, “It means alot to me, it makes one to be responsible and give
one focus, it makes one especially players to a rest of mind and concentration
on his games and I pray to God to give me and my wife the joy of marriage,” he
added.
