Abdulrahman Grateful For Stalemate Against Dolphins
The technical adviser of Kwara United, Tunde Abdulrahman, has expressed gratitude to God Almighty for salvaging a point in his teams Nigeria Professional Football League opener at the Liberation Stadium against Dolphins of Port Harcourt.
The former gaffer of Wikki Tourist stressed the fact that his players played well and according to instructions to garner a point on the road given a fact that only 16 players have been registered out of 35, and most players played out of their comfort zone against Dolphins.
"I have to thank God for getting a draw. If you observed my team we had only 16 registered players out of the entire 35. So we just managed in some positions.
"But never the less I think the boys played well because most of them played out of position. So I have to thank God for getting a draw," Abdulrahman said.
Kwara United arrived in Ilorin on Sunday afternoon and the Harmony Boys are set to face El-Kanemi Warriors on the Week 2 of the NPFL at the Kwara State Stadium.
