Kwara United defender Isiaka Oladuntoye has confirmed he
will be out of action for "up to five weeks" after suffering knee
ligament damage during training earlier this month.
The veteran picked up the injury as the side were preparing
for their Nigerian Premier League clash against Heartland FC in mid-April, and
the team doctor has since confirmed the extent of his injury.
"I have gone to hospital, and the doctor said I have to
allow the wound to heal, and he said it would take up to five weeks before I would
be able to train," he is quoted as saying by SuperSport.
"I am not happy with this injury I picked up because I
want to help my team, but I have no choice and I believe my team-mates will
cover up for me."
