Players of newly promoted Nigeria Professional Football League side Kwara United have disclosed their resolve to work with the newly appointed technical crew to achieve greatness in the elite league.
The management of Kwara United on Monday approved the appointment of Tunde Abdurahman as the Technical Adviser putting an end to the reign of Coach Samson Unuanel.
Abdulrahman, who guided the Wikki Tourists back to Nigeria's top flight last season will be assisted by former Kwara United trainer Tunde Sanni.
United's right-back Yusuf Abubakar, who is fondly called "Salas", expressed satisfaction with the appointment of the new coaches adding that the club would get even better under them.
"It's good we now have coaches early enough, they are good handlers as we know them well with they did in their former clubs. Coach Abdulrahman did a wonderful job at Wikki and I think that's what the management saw, he's a good tactician and I believe with Coach Tunde Sanni who I know very well, it will be a good season for us,” Abubakar said.
New goalkeeper of the newly promoted side, Abdullahi Boje believes the appointment of the new coaches was coming at the right time as the club need to start preparing early for life in the top league in the country.
Boje who joined Kwara United from ABS FC also disclosed that the players have resolved to give their best support for the new technical crew to excel in the league.
Kwara United last week guaranteed their promotion to NPFL by the NFF Appeals Committee, and they have joined 3SC, Gabros and Wikki Tourists as the promoted teams to the Premier League.
